What central story is at the core of you, and how do you share it with the world? (Bonus: Consider your reflections from this month. Look through them to discover a thread you may not have noticed until today.)

The story that is at the core of me. What story is best reflected in my life? What I would like it to be is what God has done. He has truly been faithful in my life. As I look back at all my #Reverb10 posts, I recall focusing more on what God has done in my life than what I have done throughout the past year. My story (or anyone’s really) is a great testimony to God’s faithfulness, grace, mercy, salvation and forgiveness.

One of the reasons I blog is to share with the world what God is showing me and my reflections. It’s my hope that those who read it will find encouragement. And I give God glory for that when it does happen!

“What God has done” is one of the common threads I’ve discovered in reading through my #Reverb10 posts from the last month. I’ve discovered that it’s a common thread in my life every year as I reflect on the years past. It’s a thread that I definitely don’t mind repeating year after year. It’s always been my desire to keep God at the centre of my life, and that others will be able to see it.

The night we got engaged

A second common thread also runs through my posts. This year was definitely a year of transition. I’ve gone through a lot of transitions that have tested my faith and grown me like never before.

I’m sure I’ll look back on this period of transition five years from now and wonder how I ever did it (or that I was probably crazy)! I have tried to find the best in these periods of transitions. I’m incredibly thankful for a faithful, loving God who gives me strength to sustain in these transitions; I’m also thankful for my husband who is now by my side going through these transitions with me!

I find it hard to believe this is my last Reverberation. I didn’t really know if I would stick through this challenge all the way to the end, but I’m really glad I did. It was a wonderful journey of self-discovery and reflection. For that I’m incredibly thankful.

Here’s to a brand new year! Happy 2011!
