I have a bad habit. I’m famous for starting projects… I have great ideas just waiting to happen. So many great ideas that I start projects, but then they never get finished because another seemingly ‘great’ project gets in the way.

This is why it took me over a year to finish our wedding scrapbook. I finally finished it over the Christmas holidays because I really made it a point to spend some time on it every day. That, and the room I was using has since been converted to the baby’s room (extra incentive I guess)!

Honestly, it’s not just that I start more projects before I finish one. Sometimes it’s just that I don’t have the time to finish once I start… Or something else comes up. Maybe I should fix this problem and actually finish some things before I start new projects.

Right now I only have one project in the works, thankfully. My other major project, the wedding scrapbook, is finished. Someday I’ll start scrapbooking again, though.

I’m really glad that with the way I leave things unfinished, God doesn’t leave me unfinished. He will finish what He’s started in me, even though it may take longer than I’d like.

There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears. Philippians 1:6 (The Message)

What are some projects that you are working on or have left unfinished? Is there something that’s keeping you from finishing them?
