This past weekend, we found ourselves travelling a bit more than we have in our past weeks in the US. On Saturday we said farewell to the Kentucky leg of our time on home assignment and began ourĀ  Illinois trip. Our first stop was Chicago where we got to visit a church who supports us. It was so lovely to chat, catch up, and pray with these folks. After a somewhat discouraging week, it was refreshing and encouraging to feel so welcomed and loved by everyone there.

We loved visiting the Perez family in IL. :) Sadly, their eldest daughter couldn’t make it… we missed seeing her!

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.” Philippians 1:3-5

How was your weekend? What did you find encouragement in?
